My goal as a practitioner is to support you in feeling at home in your mind and body through a combination of mind-body practices, guided meditation, and energy work - specifically reiki - that feels most authentic to you, ultimately creating a nurturing space dedicated to your wellbeing.

I prioritize creating a collaborative space where you can embrace curiosity and excitement towards self-exploration and nourishment, and leave our sessions feeling a little bit lighter. See below to learn more about my offerings.

Reiki

Reiki is a form of energy work and a Japanese stress reduction technique that can be helpful in inviting relaxation and balance, improving sleep, and improving anxiety. It is grounded in the idea that we have both physical and energetic bodies, and facilitates energetic balance. Sessions take place fully clothed and involve light touch. However, they can be performed without physical contact as well.

Experiences are unique from one person to the next, but many individuals experience deep relaxation and may fall asleep during a session. Emotional releases and physical sensations- for example tingling, magnetism, and heat or coolness- are common as well. Clients often leave feeling peaceful and grounded.

Mind-Body Practices

Mindfulness and mind-body practices can be helpful in nurturing a deeper connection to your body and learning to listen to its wisdom with greater ease. During blended sessions, we spend the first half of the session on exercises that encourage you to connect with your body and emotions, as well as interrupt unhelpful behavioral patterns and shape new ones. These practices can be applied in a wide variety of ways, from improving anxiety to curbing cravings to increasing confidence. I’ll make sure you leave feeling comfortable with techniques you can apply on your own to spur on change beyond our sessions.

The second half of the session begins with a guided meditation that gently eases into energy work. During this meditation we’ll continue with self-discovery inspired by your goals through creative meditative landscapes and visualizations.
